Grant of probate for deceased with a will
1) What should you do if the deceased leave a Will?
You will have to engage a lawyer to apply for petition for grant of probate.

2) What client need to ready with necessary documents:-
- Original death certificate
- Original will
- mykad of executor
- list of assets & liabilities (with documents to prove)
- Contactable will witnesses

3) Once secured a lawyer, the lawyer will draft and prepare cause papers.

4) After signing, hearing date will be out (depends on high court’s date). Petitioner must attend the court.

5) Once grant has obtained from the court, the petitioner can use the grant to process the bank account, share market account(CDS account), property and etc.
